By accessing or using the C3G Canada website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About This Site

C3 Glomerulopathy Canada (C3G Canada) is a non-profit collaborative network of clinicians with an interest in C3 glomerulopathy (C3G), idiopathic immune-complex membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (IC-MPGN), and related complement-mediated glomerular diseases. The Site provides information and resources mainly for healthcare professionals.

3. Not Medical Advice

Content on the Site is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment. Clinicians remain responsible for decisions about patient care. Patients and members of the public should consult a qualified healthcare provider about any medical concerns.

4. Network Membership

Membership in C3G Canada is open to eligible healthcare professionals and is subject to review and approval by the network’s leadership. C3G Canada may decline, suspend, or end membership at its discretion. Members agree to give accurate information when they apply.

5. Submissions and Patient Privacy

When you submit information through the Site, including case discussions, resources, or enquiries, you confirm that:

The submission contains no identifiable patient information
You have the right to share the content
The content complies with applicable privacy and professional obligations

C3G Canada may review, edit, or decline to publish any submission.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise noted, Site content, including text, graphics, logos, and resources, belongs to C3G Canada or its content contributors. You may view, download, and share content for non-commercial educational purposes with proper attribution. Any other use requires prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Resources

The Site may link to external websites or resources. C3G Canada does not control and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

8. Sponsorship

C3G Canada receives sponsorship support from industry partners. Sponsors do not control the network’s educational content. See Funding & Sponsors for details.

C3G Canada works to keep Site content accurate and up to date. Because medical knowledge changes quickly, however, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, C3G Canada, its leadership, members, and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content.

Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
